When your agent creates a new booking, in order for you to receive it, they must press on “send by email”. You will receive a notification, informing you that a new booking has been created and added in the calendar of your app. You can either check the information and description of the booking on the chat with the agent or on the agenda by clicking on the new booking.
If I am signed with multiple agencies how will this work?
Your agencies need to have Mediaslide booking software to be connected to Backstage. You will be able to connect with them all, have all your different books and get all your events in the same app. Each booker from a different agency can send your jobs or casting details and they will be added in your calendar but also in your chat with each booker.
Can my booker update my books ?
Yes, when your booker edits, adds or updates your albums in their Mediaslide booking software they will automatically sync with your app and you will receive a notification informing you that an album has been updated, a picture has been edited or new pictures have been added.
Can I have different books from different agencies on the app?
Yes, you can have different books from different agencies only when your agencies are using Mediaslide. Everytime that an agent adds, edits, or updates your albums, by clicking on “share on backstage” it will be automatically sync with your app. Having all your books in one place and with you at all times makes it easier for you to choose which books you want to show to your clients.
Can I chat with my booker?
Yes, you can chat, send voice notes, pictures and videos directly to your booker through the app.
You can use the instant chat feature to chat with your booker about upcoming jobs, and booking information or for just a simple catch up.
Can I chat with other contacts?
Yes, you can chat to whoever you like about whatever you like, in a one to one chat or in group chats as long as they are Backstage users themselves. To become Backstage members they must download the app.
Can I find the location of a booking?
Yes, when you click on the event, the address will be listed along with quick access to google maps and Uber to find you the quickest route.
Can I accept or decline a booking from the app?
Yes, you will be able to accept or decline booking from the app if your booker chooses to allow this feature. The two options will be displayed when you click on the booking.
How can I let my booker know I’ve arrived at my job?
You can let your booker know you’ve arrived at your job either by selecting the “I AM HERE” option from the booking on the app, or letting them know manually through the chat.
How can I share my pictures ?
You will be able to share your pictures in Backstage with your bookers and friends or across a variety of social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Telegram etc.. Just simply open an album, click on the three dots icon in the top right corner, then select the images you wish to share or the whole album, click on the three dots icon again, click on “send in Backstage” and select the contact or the chat to which you want to send your photos.

How do I send castings and jobs from Mediaslide to Backstage?
You can send castings and jobs from Mediaslide to Backstage the same way you normally would from your booking software. Simply create or click on an already existing event, clicking on options and then “email to all models”. Your models will receive their booking details by email and the booking will appear directly in their Backstage calendar and in a chat window. If you send a casting to more than one model in Backstage you will be able to create a group chat and give live instructions in it.
How do I install Backstage to connect with my models?
You must be a Mediaslide booking software user to install Backstage in order to connect with your models. To do so you must click on “connect to Backstage” from your Mediaslide account, you will then need to enter the code that you will receive on your phone in the Backstage app. You can also download Backstage free of charge from the Apple store or Google play to keep interacting with your models when you are not using Mediaslide.
Can my models access their calendar? Can my models see my calendar?
Yes, from your booking system you can choose the information and events you wish to share with your models the same way you usually would. Simply send a booking or a casting to your models, click on options, and then “emails to all models”.
If I edit or update albums on my booking software, will it synchronize with the app?
Yes, your booking software will automatically sync your models albums with Backstage if you activate the “share on Backstage” option from your software. To do this you will need to select the album, click options, click edit album, and select “share on backstage”.
Can I interact with my models?
Yes, you will be able to interact with your models directly from Mediaslide or by downloading the app for free on your phone. With the Backstage app you will be able to chat, or even send voice notes, pictures, videos and more to your models directly from the app.
How can I know if my model has received the details of a booking?
When you send the details of a booking to your models they will receive a notification on the app containing all the information. You will also be notified of all details your models receives via your booking software the same way you are notified when you send the details by email.
Can I allow my models to accept and decline bookings from the app?
It’s up to you, if you want your models to be able to accept or decline bookings and castings you can contact the Mediaslide support team via email email@example.com and ask them to activate this setting for you.
If the details of a job change on my booking software, will the models be notified and will it sync with the models app?
Yes, when the details of a job or a casting change on your software for it to synchronize in your models app, you simply need to resend the new information. You can resend this information by clicking on options and then “email to all models” from your booking software and it will automatically update the booking in your models app.
Will I be notified when my model arrives on the job?
Yes, your models can notify you when they arrive on the job by either clicking on the “I AM HERE” option from their app or by messaging you manually. You will receive a notification on your app and will be able to answer in the chat.
